Steven Cohen is a world class hedge fund investor and the founder and manager of SAC Capital Partners, a Stamford, Connecticut-based hedge fund. 

Cohen grew up in Great Neck, New York, and he attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Cohen began his career as junior trader in the options arbitrage department at Gruntal & Co. 

He was highly successful as a trader at Gruntal and Cohen later ran a trading group at the firm.

Cohen started SAC Capital Partners with $25 million in 1992 and the firm currently manages several billion in equity.

Cohen began collecting art in 2000, and is considered to be one of the top art buyers in the world. Cohen is reputed to be highly secretive and a true market genius.
