J. Peter Steidlmayer is an independent trader who joined the Chicago Board of Trade in 1963. Steidlmayer served on the CBOT Board of Directors from 1981-1983. While a director, he developed Market Profile in conjunction with the CBOT. Market Profile is a technical tool that uses a graphical organization of price, volume and time information.
