New York Board of Trade (NYBOT)

The New York Board of Trade or NYBOT is an international marketplace for agricultural and financial futures and options. It offers internationally traded agricultural commodities such as cocoa, coffee, cotton, frozen concentrated orange juice (FCOJ) and sugar.

NYBOT also offer futures and options markets for currency cross rates, as well as for the Russell Equity Indexes, NYSE Commodity Index, Reuters Jefferies CRB Index, and the US Dollar Index (USDX), along with new markets for Ethanol and Pulp.

The origins of NYBOT date back to 1870 with the founding of the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCE). NYBOT was created through the merger in 2004 of the NYCE and the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange (CSCE).
