MACD Histogram, Definition

The MACD Histogram attempts to address the MACD indicator's lag by visually representing the distance between the MACD line and the MACD signal line. The histogram signals can indicate trend changes earlier than regular MACD signals. See also: Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD)
