While most traders are looking for interest rate markets to trade much higher, Kenison Counting Numbers are now projecting that a major top in the 30 Year U. S. Bonds is at hand.
By applying the counting numbers to the monthly chart, a powerful three month reversal zone centered on the month of September 2007 is projected. Bonds have rallied above the July monthly high in August, indicating that the Bond market has committed itself to an important top which will occur in August, September or October 2007.
By applying the counting numbers sequence to the Bond weekly charts, we noted that the first of two potentially powerful three week reversal zones contained within the three month reversal zone mentioned above was centered on the week of August 13, 2007. The market failed to confirm a weekly top in that reversal zone so we did not get a sell signal at that time.
The next three week reversal zone is centered on the week of September 10, 2007. The market has already traded up into this reversal zone leaving open the high probability that the anticipated major top will occur during this time frame. Confirmation of a weekly top would occur if the market trades below a previous week during this three week reversal zone. This would trigger a massive sell-off leading to sharply higher interest rates for Bonds with consequences worldwide.
We will be correspondingly applying the counting numbers sequence to daily and 60 minute charts to determine the three day and three hour reversal zones contained within this three week reversal zone.
