Dear Fellow Trader,
Big volatility on Friday (and really all week). Not only that, but the market finished a little weak on Friday!
I don't know if you noticed or not, but it actually made trading a little tough this week.
Tough weeks are part of trading, and lucky for me I don't have too many of them. But when there is big volatility there is big opportunity, but it comes with one other thing: Big Risk!!!
And that's what we saw this past week if you wanted to stay with some trades, you needed to take some bigger risk than usual. But that's not for me!!!
I keep my risk to $100 or less per contract on every single E-mini S&P trade I do, and thus I never lose a lot on any one trade.
And that's exactly what we teach our students to do too!
If we've had a bad week, it's never too bad, because we never risk a whole lot. That's the only way to be successful!
If anybody tells you different, tell them to prove to you they've made real money with those ideas!
