Buffett to donate 31 Billion to Gates Foundation

Warren Buffett has handed over the majority of his fortune to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The gift, made in Berkshire Hathaway stock could double the size of the foundation to a staggering $60 billion. The money will be used to address the problems of the poorest of the poor - issues such as malaria in developing nations, tuberculosis and AIDS. Another area of focus is to improve the high school drop out rate in the US.
