Spot is currently looking for an experienced Off-Floor Equity Options Trader to join its trading team.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Identifying, and acting upon, trading opportunities using a combination of real-time market and proprietary data.
* Managing a broad portfolio of option and stock positions.
* Communicating with other traders, trading desk support personnel, research analysts, financial engineers and software developers.
* Representing the firm in its relationships with outside service providers, including brokers and software vendors.
Qualifications:
* Experience as an off-floor equity options trader in a volatility-based arbitrage off-floor trading group
* Proven track record of consistent, risk-adjusted returns.
* Strong team-orientation willing to work with another trader to co-manage one of the firm's portfolios.
* High aptitude and affinity for thinking quantitatively.
* Stellar references attesting to trader’s ability to perform superbly under pressure.
Spot’s compensation package is competitive; comprised of salary plus an annual performance-based discretionary bonus as well as the opportunity for potential partnership investment.
