Channel Line, Definition
A line drawn parallel to a basic trendline, so that a channel is created between them. In an uptrend, the channel line rises to the right and connects peaks in price movement. Conversely, in a downtrend the channel line connects price lows and descends to the right. Resistance is interpreted to be around rising channel lines and support around descending channel lines.
